    Offered today is this HUGE 2.75" very well crafted aesthetic "Geese in Flight" oval sterling silver mid-century brooch.   This is in the style of Georg Jensen, which many artists copied.  There could be a signature under all the patina, but I did not want to clean this piece, as the collectors often like the darkened appearance of a vintage sterling piece.
    Four geese (or ducks) make their way, flying above what looks like a marsh.  The detail in this pin is really lovely...it is heavy and will definitely be noticed.
    This large sterling bird brooch measures 2.75" by  2.25" and it weighs 36 grams (over an OUNCE of sterling silver). I could not find a sterling mark, but it definitely tests positive for sterling silver. It's in excellent vintage condition.
