Victorian Revival 925 Sterling Silver Genuine Marcasite Garnet Peacock Brooch

This opulent peacock brooch was created in the late 1980s by Thai Artisans, who travelled the world in that decade, to study jewellery pieces of the Victorian time and revived the style for us to enjoy.
The piece is made out of Sterling Silver, studded with over 130 painstakingly handset Genuine Marcasites and 15 Tsavorite Garnets. There are 2 little Marcasites missing, 1 in the first row of the tail section, 1 in the middle of the last row of the tail section. It is nearly not visible (I had to look with a magnifier to see it) and does not diminish the beauty and sparkle of the brooch.
Peacocks are the symbol of immortality and a luxurious charmed life. The lovely brooch is the right present for the bird lover in your life or persons that loves beautiful items reminiscent of past époques.

Hallmarked: 925 on the backside of the brooch, upper part of the tail section, 5th feather, very
hard to see.

Condition: Very lightly worn, 2 missing little Marcasites.
